35 SERPAR-EP
The SERPAR® Series Double Valves are internally monitored valves equipped with an advanced monitoring device to verify proper operation of each valve element. If a valve fault is detected during any cycle, the SERPAR valve automatically shifts to a safe state, exhausting all downstream air and engaging a lock-out mechanism to prevent further operation. This feature ensures safety by requiring a momentary reset signal to resume normal operation.
SERPAR Series valves with E-P monitoring are available in Single Input Signal and Dual Input Signal models. Single Input valves need only one main solenoid signal, which is wired to the terminal strip’s terminal 1 and internally linked to the second solenoid, with commons wired to terminal 3—allowing synchronized energizing and de-energizing of both solenoids. Dual Input valves require independent wiring of two solenoid signals, with one connected to terminal 1 and the second to terminal 5, both needing simultaneous signals for proper operation.
