Solenoid Valve without Differential Pressure (Direct Acting or Indirect Acting with Forced Lifting)
A direct acting solenoid valve is operated entirely by the solenoid force, making it ideal for applications with low or zero differential pressure. The solenoid plunger, which is mechanically connected to the valve’s closure device, directly controls the opening and closing. When the solenoid energizes, it lifts the plunger and seal from the valve seat, allowing fluid to flow. In the closed position, the plunger and spring force the seal onto the seat to stop the flow. These valves offer quick response and precise control, making them well-suited for applications in gas, liquid, and air systems across industries like chemical processing, water treatment, and manufacturing.
