Buschjost Pressure Actuated Valve by External Fluid/Source
Pressure actuated valves are controlled by a pilot fluid supplied to the actuator through a pilot valve. A stem connects the valve’s closure device to the actuator’s control element. In the default state, a spring forces the closure device down onto the valve seat, keeping it closed. When pilot pressure is applied, it overcomes the spring force, lifting the control element and opening the valve. These valves are particularly suited for handling contaminated or highly viscous fluids, ensuring reliable operation even in demanding process conditions.
