Series ZF Soft Seat Wafer Type Centric BFV Ductile Iron Body
A butterfly valve is a quarter-turn valve used to regulate the flow of fluids. It consists of a circular disc mounted on a rotating shaft, which allows for quick shutoff and precise flow control. When the valve is fully closed, the disc seals against a resilient liner to stop the flow completely. Butterfly valves are known for their lightweight design, ease of operation, and cost-effectiveness, making them ideal for applications in various industries such as water treatment, chemical processing, and HVAC systems. They are especially suitable for large diameter pipes and systems requiring frequent operation.
