Butterfly Valve
WOGS offers a full range of butterfly valves designed for reliable isolation and flow regulation in industrial, commercial, and utility applications. Known for their compact design, low pressure drop, and cost-effectiveness, butterfly valves are widely used across industries such as water treatment, HVAC, chemical processing, power generation, and marine systems.
Whether you need a simple manual valve or an automated solution for critical process control, our butterfly valves deliver long-lasting performance with minimal maintenance.
What Is a Butterfly Valve?
A butterfly valve is a quarter-turn rotational valve that uses a circular disc mounted on a shaft to control the flow of fluid. When the disc is parallel to the flow, the valve is open; when rotated 90 degrees, it blocks the flow entirely. Butterfly valves are especially well-suited for large-diameter pipelines, offering a lightweight, space-saving alternative to gate or ball valves.
Types of Butterfly Valves We Offer:
Wafer Type Butterfly Valves – Compact, economical design that fits between flanges
Lug Type Butterfly Valves – Threaded inserts for end-of-line service or dead-end installation
Double Offset / High-Performance Valves – For higher pressure and temperature applications
PVC and UPVC Butterfly Valves – Lightweight and corrosion-resistant for chemical or water systems
